STAINLESS STEEL TACTILES INDICATORS
- Complies to AS/NZS 1428.4:2002. Tested to AS/NZS 4586:1999, R13 Slip Resistance(All Styles).
- Stainless steel and grit fill finishes available. 35mm in diameter, 5mm protrusion height.
- The carborundum filled option is available in two colours, ideal for metallic surfaces to acheive 60% luminance.
- Installation Spigot kit comes with template, 6mm drill bit, adhesive, caulking gun, instructions. Plain backed kit comes with template, cleaning agent, abrasive pad, adhesive, adhesive applicator gun, instructions.
- You will need 216 studs to cover a 600x900mm area, which is generally the minimum requirement for a single hazard. You would need two lots of these to cover the top and bottom of the hazard.
TACTILES
- Safety for visually imapired pedestrians.
- Conforms to Australian Standards 1428.4-1992 Part 4.
- Two types of tiles available. Round stud pattern for warning and large ridge pattern for directional of travel.
- Suitable for internal, external, dry or wet areas, railway platforms, pick up/drop off areas, stairways, escalators, ramps or car park crossings. Adhesive MSDS.
- Installation kit contains; knife, adhesive(1kg, 2 part), masking tape(10m), instructions, trowel and cutting template. each 1kg adhesive covers four 300 x 600mm tiles.
PORCELAIN TACTILES
- Complies to As/NZS 1428.4:2002
- Available in four colurs, 300x300x17mm tiles, 11 per box(1m squared)
- Manfactured from high grade porcelain, they boasta 10 year warranty and are UV stabilised.
- Available in warning and directional styles.
- Adhesive available that covers between 5-8 metres squared depending on the surface.
PLASTIC TACTILE INDICATORS
- Complies to AS/NZS 1428.4:2002
- Manufactured from long lasting UV stable polymer. 35mm in diameter, 5mm protrusion height.
- No adhesive required. Installation kit available containing template, drill bit with limit sheath & installation instructions.
- With a depth of 600mm, 240 studs will cover 1 lineal metre.
- Cost effective solution for warning or directional indicators for the vision impaired.
