How does a hand dryer sensor work?
This hand dryer is equipped with a full automatic sensor. The sensor will emit a ray of infrared light, which cannot be seen by the human eye. When the user's hands hit the ray it bounces back into the dryer, which triggers the sensor to turn on the machine. The dryer will remain on until 4 seconds after the hands are removed from the infrared light ray.
What are the benefits of installing a hand dryer?
Hand dryers are a great inclusion in any bathroom, helping dry hands and reduce the amount of paper waste. Additional benefits of installing a hand dryer include:
- Reduced maintenance - Maintenance checks are limited to 6-12 months depending on usage. Paper towels require more frequent checks and refills.
- Environmentally friendly - Uses little energy, reduces paper waste

- Neat and tidy area - By removing paper towels there is limited waste in the bathroom. Reduces the possibility of paper towels disposed of incorrectly e.g left on the floor which creates mess.
Are hand dryers more expensive than paper towels?
The initial start-up cost for a hand dryer is more expensive than the cost of ordering paper towels, however in the long run hand dryers can end up being more cost effective than paper towels. This hand dryer has an automatic sensor which can assist with reducing the amount of electricity used when the dryer is not needed. It also is designed to power up very quickly to dry hands in an effective manner reducing drying time which can lower electricity costs.
How long do hand dryers last?
