Polypad Tactiles Ground Surface Indicators are a special flooring tile with a significantly raised profile designed to provide the visually impaired with a warning of impending hazard(s) or directional guidance. Polypad Tactiles are available in two types: Large round stud pattern used for warning of hazard(s) and large ridge pattern for the direction of travel. Suitable for internal, external, dry or wet areas, these tactiles are ideal for railway platforms, passenger platforms, vehicle pick-up/drop-off areas (e.g. bus stops), stairways, escalators, ramps or car park crossings and kerbs.
No need to recess indicators as you can adhere directly to surfaces. The adhesive is available in either a 2-part mixture for outdoor use or a 1-part mixture for indoor use. Additional adhesives are available separately.
The Polypads Tactiles are available in two sizes, 300 x 600mm and user-friendly size 600 x 900mm. Manufactured from quality rubber that can withstand heavy pedestrian traffic, the Polypad Tactiles have a standard warranty of 2 years.
Installation Kit (Sold Separately) contains:
- Knife
- Adhesive (1kg, 2 parts)
- Masking tape (10m)
- Instructions, trowel and cutting template
Each 1kg adhesive covers four 300 x 600mm tiles.
