The 3M™ Particulate Filter 2138, GP2/GP3, with Nuisance Level Organic Vapour/Acid Gas Relief complies with Australian and New Zealand Standards 1716:2012. The filter is lightweight with low breathing resistance. It protects against particulates P2/P3, Ozone and Nuisance levels*.
It is used for protection against toxic particles and nuisance level* acid gases and organic vapours with low vapour pressure <1.3Pa @ 25°C
Note that any filtering respirator should not be used for protection at airborne concentrations of contaminants above the relevant Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) levels.
*Nuisance Levels are those levels below the Workplace Exposure Standard (WES).
