Description

As part of the Disability Discrimination Act compliance, it is now mandatory to provide Tactile Warning Indicators to stairs, ramps and many other changing conditions. Stainless Steel Studs now available in four styles: Stainless Steel and Grit (Carborundum)-Filled. The Carborundum-Filled option is available in two colours: Yellow and Black. These are ideal for metallic surfaces to achieve 60% luminance requirements under AS/NZS 1428. All styles have achieved an R13 Slip Rating which is the highest available under AS/NZS 4586. A wet core drill is required for hard surfaces eg. ceramic, marble and stone.

NB: 216 individual studs are required to cover a 600 x 900mm area, which is generally the minimum requirement for a single hazard (however two of these are required to cover the top and bottom of the hazard).
