Can the portable basket get knocked/tipped over while transporting?

The portable basket on the Clax Cart can be attached to the bottom and the top shelf with integrated straps, and locks in place firmly. It is a safe and secure solution for carrying folders, files and other loose items that you may need to carry between offices.

How much does the Clax Cart weigh?

The Clax Cart once assembled weighs as little as 7kg, and is not considered a heavy item. It is recommended that safe work practices are followed when assembling and using the Clax Cart, avoiding excess strain and repetitive movements that may cause injury to potential stress points on the body.

How many baskets does it come with?

The Clax Cart comes with one basket. Additional accessories may be purchased here. This product can be customised to suit the needs of your business, and is capable of stacking up to three baskets on top of each other, as well as suitable toolboxes.

What is the maximum weight I can put for each deck?

The Clax Cart has a combined maximum capacity of 60kg. This is split between the two shelves - the bottom shelf is capable of carrying 40kg, while the top shelf has a maximum load capacity of 20kg's.

Does it come assembled?

The Clax Cart only comes partly assembled. You will need to attach the wheels to the base of the cart to start using this product. The Clax Cart comes with instructions on how to do this, and does not require any additional tools to attach the wheels.

Can this be rolled behind you on wheels when it is folded?

Yes it can. The bearings in the wheels are extremely smooth and are able to roll over a variety of different surfaces, indoors and outside. The Clax Cart is designed to reduce injuries often associated with excessive pushing and pulling

The wheels are locking or not rotating, what do I do?

It is important to check that you do not have the wheel park brake function on. If you do have the wheel park brake on, simply release this using the green foot pedal brake at the back of the Clax Cart. This function is used to provide a stable platform to load and unload the trolley, and is a safety feature designed to reduce the potential risk of workplace incidents.

Can this product store vertically?

This product can be stored vertically thanks to its one-push button function that makes folding the trolley easy and effortless. Once folded, the trolley measures only 670mm in length, 470mm in width and 110mm in height, making it easy to transport or store in the office.

Can this product be used outdoors?

This product is made from a combination of durable injection-moulded plastics and sturdy, corrosion-resistant aluminium. If properly looked after and maintained, the Clax Cart can be used outdoors and in different weather conditions.
