The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) is a value used to rate the sound absorption of soundproof materials. It is measured on a scale from 0.0 to 1.0, with scores closer to 1.0 being preferable. Sana 3D Tiles have an NRC of 0.70, and with extra wadding, 0.85

Can this product be used outdoors?

The SANA 3D Acoustic Wall tiles are specifically designed to control reverberated noise and echo in an indoors environment. It is not recommended for this product to be used outdoors as this will impact the acoustic performance of the tiles.

What is soundproofing used for?

Soundproofing is used to control and isolate sound inside a room or work area. As an added benefit, soundproofing can also reduce the long-term effects of harsh noise on our ears. Hearing-related injuries such as tinnitus can be prevented if proper soundproofing (in the form of sound-absorbing tiles or other materials) are used together with PPE (like earmuffs).

Can you soundproof existing rooms?

Yes, you can. Sana 3D Tiles can be used to soundproof rooms as it comes with wall clips that can be applied to pre-existing walls. This can be a more cost-effective way of soundproofing a room rather than drilling holes into walls and blowing insulation foam.

How can I clean my SANA 3D Acoustic Tiles?

If an accident occurs blot the spill quickly and wipe with a damp cloth. It is important to avoid rubbing and using large amounts of water on the tiles as this may affect the finish. An upholstery or carpet clean/shampoo can assist in removing stains or spills. Blot with a clean and dry cloth after cleaning.
